Extension

Today I got my hair braided African-style. It hurt really bad, and it took a long time (four hours, plus an hour waiting to get started) but I really like it. I wish my skin color looked better with purple-black hair. What do you think?

Well, if it really hurt and looked bad, that would be terrible. But I really like it. (Some girls in our ward had their hair braided and beaded on a vacation to Jamaica. Yours looks better.)

Seriously, you have found your best look.

Hahaha braiding hurts SO bad. I had that done in jamaica and the ladies were in a big hurry...no mercy. My scalp tingled (unpleasantly) for like a day.

PS. I love your blog. Especially the passout ceremony post...hahaha

Looks awesome! I don't think I'd have had the patience to sit that long, especially if it was painful. Hope you're keeping it for a while at least to make all the pain worth it. It looks really cute on you!

I love it! How long is it? I got my hair braided in Brasil, but they only used my hair, I didn't get extensions, yours looks much better than mine did!:)

One thing I have been pondering upon--do they start at the nape, or your forehead, or the sides, or where? Thank you.
